Hello, hello, Claymates! Shine Ceramics will be open for business, selling pots at The Old West End Festival next weekend, June 5-6, from 10-5. My booth will be in the fine art section of the festival, which is located in the gardens of The Toledo Museum of Art's Glass Pavilion. New work by Shine, and lots of mugs and cups by Gloom as well. These plates are $40 each because of the amount of time spent painting- about 2 hours each. I've simplified many of my patterns to be more affordable and accessable to younger collectors.
I established Shine Ceramics in 2006 to share my passion for functional ceramics, bold color, and pattern. You can find my work at The Toledo Museum of Art's Collector's Corner, Space 237 Gallery, Downtown Latte, Petit Fours, and at Art on Central in Toledo, and at The Artisan's Bench, in Brighton, Michigan.
